Who We Are
The Gathering exists to be a community formed by the Word, led by the Spirit, and walking in the victory Christ has already won.
We are not building a program. We are making disciples.

What We Believe

Not a watered-down Jesus designed to make everyone comfortable. The full Christ crucified for sin, buried in a tomb, risen on the third day, seated at the right hand of the Father, and coming back in glory. In a world that wants to reduce Jesus to a life coach, we declare Him as Lord.

Jesus never said go make church members. He said go make disciples. Men and women who learn His ways, carry His authority, and reflect His character in every room they walk into. Formation over information. Transformation over attendance.

A crowd sits in the same room once a week. A community knows each other, carries each other, and sharpens each other. We are building the kind of church where people are genuinely known and genuinely loved.

A victorious Church is not built on one gifted leader it is built on activated sons and daughters. Every believer carries presence and proclamation. Ministry is not reserved for the platform. It belongs to every person in the room.
How We Live

The Word defines truth and anchors the Church against drift. Everything we do flows from what Scripture actually says not what we wish it said, not what culture demands. The Word has the final word.

All gifts of the Holy Spirit are active and available today. The Spirit empowers obedience and alignment. We do not operate in our own strength we move when He moves and trust what He does.

Prayer is relational dependence that sustains everything we do. We pray first, not last. Not as a formality as a lifeline. A church that stops praying stops moving with God.

I shared a prayer request for my brand new grandson with a few ladies at church the other night, and not only did they pray (and we received the answer to the prayer that night, praise God!), but they also gave me info and resources to help. Real community! So thankful!

The Gathering has given me a place I feel like I belong. After moving to Cleburne 10 years ago, leaving our home church, and after visiting several local churches, The Gathering has been what I have yearned for and needed so much. Pastor Billy's messages have brought fresh meaning of the scriptures to me. His love for the Word is so evident. I pray everyone who walks into The Gathering feels like they belong and that Jesus and His Word comes alive to them.

In all my 75 years, I have never heard a Pentecost sermon like I did last Sunday. Since sitting under the teaching here, my spirit is finding rest. The Word that is brought stays with me and I meditate on it throughout the week. Not only me but my family, those I do life with. We truly are able to Sabbath with services at 5 PM and look so forward to the decrees and declarations of who we are in Christ.

Kids Gathering Zone
Babies through Pre-K have a dedicated, safe room with caring volunteers from the moment you arrive.
Ages 5–12 stay in the main service for worship, then go to the Kids Zone table during the message for an age-appropriate experience.
Background-checked volunteers. Secure check-in tags. Two-adult rule. You can worship knowing your kids are safe and engaged.
